Ingredients:
• 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)
• 1/4 cup dry white wine
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
• Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
1. Season shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
2. Cook linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for about 1 minute until garlic becomes fragrant.
4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
5. Pour in the white wine, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
6. Toss in the cooked pasta and chopped parsley, stirring to coat the pasta evenly.
7. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
