Easy Crab Cake Recipe

Serving size: Two 4 oz. crab cakes   Ingredients  4 oz. of jumbo lump crab meat  4 oz. of lump crabmeat  16 oz. mayonnaise  ½ tsp mustard  ½ tbsp. scallions, chopped  1 dash tabasco sauce  ½ tsp lemon juice  2 egg yolks  1 tbsp panko bread crumbs  1 pinch salt  1 pinch ground pepper  1 pinch old bay seasoning  1 pinch garlic salt  1 pinch onion powder     Preparation:  Mix all ingredients, except crab meat and panko crumbs. Fold in crab meat, and then fold in panko crumbs. Let sit for a few minutes to allow crumbs to absorb. Mold into 4 oz patties. Using olive oil, either pan fry or fry to golden brown on both sides.

Garlic Prawns Recipe

Garlic Prawns   2 Servings   8pc U/15 Prawns ( peeled and deveined)  2 ounce of olive oil  8 tablespoons of finely diced shallots  6 ounces of white wine  8 Tablespoons of butter  4 Tablespoons of  fresh garlic puree  1 lemon, juiced  2 large pinches of chopped parsley    Preparation:  In a large saute pan over medium heat add olive oil, finely chopped shallots and the peeled prawns. Saute until the shallots are soft and clear, but do not brown. Add the wine and allow it to reduce until very little liquid remains. Remove the prawn when they are just opaque through and set aside.   Squeeze the lemon juice into the pan, then add the butter by stirring one...

Ahi King Poke Recipe

Ahi King Poke   1 Pound sashimi-grade ahi, cut into ¾-inch dice (  ½ cup limu kohu, rinsed and chopped (found at most asian markets)  ¼ cup Maui onion, peeled and minced  ¼ cup green onion, chopped  2 Hawaiian chili peppers, trimmed and minced (optional  2 Tablespoons Shoyu  1 Teaspoon Hawaiian salt (or add to taste)  1 Tablepoon sesame oil    Preparation  Place all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Chill and serve.

Parchment Baked Salmon

Serves 2   Ingredients:  2 (8 oz.) Salmon Fillet  Salt and pepper to taste  ¼ cup chopped basil leaves  Olive oil cooking spray  1 lemon, thinly sliced    Preparation:  Place an oven rack in the lowest position in oven and preheat oven to 400 degrees.   Place salmon fillet with skin side down in the middle of a large piece of parchment paper; season with salt and black pepper. Cut 2-3 inch slits into the fish with a sharp knife. Stuff chopped basil leaves into the slits.
